Suppliers If your business relies on external sources for its raw materials, this should be a main concern of the product mix. Not being supplied the desired items and quality on time may cost you valuable business and customers. Collect all the necessary information to complete the two tables. If you find you have only one supplier for a product, make sure it's not a strategically critical product. If the product is of strategic importance, the supplier has to be screened thoroughly and all efforts made to locate another source (just in case). For this purpose we have included the second table 'Alternate suppliers'. Complete this table as well, providing all the necessary information.
